Taping my mouth for better sleep
And improved facial features
This has to be one of the weirdest hypes in self-improvement and I’m totally in for it.
People put tape on their mouth to close it at night. They claim it helps against snoring and gives them more restful sleep.
Athletes (including one of the best football players on earth) use this technique to improve their recovery and performance.
Haaland mentioned mouth taping among other ‘biohacks’ to improve his sleep
AThere isn't much research on the benefits of mouth taping for sleep. But, it's all about promoting nose breathing.
When you breathe through your nose during sleep, it filters the air. This gives your body higher quality air. The breathing patterns are also less shallow and deeper. They put you into a more relaxed state before sleep.
Next to improvements in sleep, nose breathing can also make you more attractive.
More about this in future emails
If you’re interested I’m going to try these mouth tapes from Jawliner (not affiliated whatsoever).
Keep improving 👊
