How to be the most charismatic person in the room
With these few tricks up your sleeve
People with extremely charismatic personalities (even Hitler had a dark charisma to him)
In life there are some people who are straight-up charismatic. They’re fun and nice to be around and people seem to gravitate towards them.
Having a charismatic and social personality is a superpower. Everything in this world comes down to dealing with people.
Research showed that only 15% of job success comes from technical skills and knowledge (hard skills).
85% of job success comes from having well‐developed people skills (soft skills). Even in technical professions like engineers.
Social skills are important. Whether you need to convince someone for a sale or have an interaction with your spouse.
Here are three that helped me most in life when dealing with people.
1.) Stop talking about yourself and be a good listener.
Ask questions and be genuinely interested in them. Everybody has the desire to feel important.
This stems from a deep rooted desire that everyone has: the desire to feel important.
Above all, everyone has something they can teach you. You’ll benefit by figuring out what it is. This belief leads to a genuine interest and appreciation for other people.
2.) When you see and meet someone, smile
If there’s one habit you should force yourself to use, it’s smiling when you see and meet people.
Not only will you make a better impression on people. You will also be happier yourself when you smile towards other people.
3.) A person’s name is the best word in any language
You ever see those dating shows where people forget the person’s name after 5 minutes. It never ends up that well.
Learn to remember people’s names when they introduce themselves and repeat their names in conversations. They will feel respected and like you more for it.
