This boring hack will make you stick to your diet

Warning: It’s as boring as it sounds

Eating a strict diet to dial in your health is hard. Not to mention that the calorie tracking, cooking and grocery shopping is time consuming as well.

Believe me I get it. No one wants to spend 2-3 hours a day thinking about their meals and preparing them.

One of the biggest game changers for me when eating a healthier diet was eating the same meals everyday.

It did a few things:

1.) You only need to calculate the calories and macro nutrients of the meals once
Logging everything you eat in a calorie tracker is time consuming. When you eat the same meals you only have to calculate it once and then every time you eat, you know you’re doing it right

2.) A lot of time and mental energy is saved
Tracking what you eat every time can become straight up annoying, so it’s hard to follow through. When you eat the same meals, it saves the mental energy for more important things.

3.) Makes healthy eating a routine on autopilot
One of the best laws for sticking to a diet or habit is to make it easy. When you know exactly what to eat and when to eat, sticking to a diet will become second nature.

This is one of the most boring concepts and people always ask me if I don’t get tired of it.

To be honest: absolutely not.

The thing is you can get creative with the meals and work with spices and fruits to get amazing flavors. Having boring or exciting meals is a choice, you need to be creative with the tastes. But as long as the basics of the meals are the same you can change up how they taste.
