Why action solves everything

Iterate along the way

Want to know something interesting:

All the great things we have today, are iterations of crappier versions that came before.

The first airplane was in the air for only 12 seconds.
The first car (a benz patent motorwagen) could only go 16 km/hour.
The first mobile phone weighed 1 kg and could story only 30 phone numbers.

Imagine picking up your girl in this ride

When these inventions first came out they sucked compared to what we have today. But, due to iteration, they became the most life-changing inventions. We now use them everyday.

The same goes when we start a new skill, hobby or business. Things will suck when you start out. That’s part of life and building skills.

You will post to 0 followers (that’s me for now). You will blow your first few sales calls or get beaten down by 15 year-olds in martial arts (hey that’s me again).

But something amazing happens when you show up everyday. If you push through the resistance long enough you start to iterate on what you did before and get better.

Small things start getting better: The writing will improve, speech becomes fluent or you finally learn to get your defenses up.

The only way we can iterate and make something great is by starting.

The path Illuminates as we walk it. We just gotta start walking it.

Don’t wait for perfect, start and improve it along the way.

Keep improving 👊
